The Washington Program of the New York Freudian Society offers a Fellowship Program for clinicians and students interested in learning about psychoanalysis and analytic training.  The Society's Fellowship Program is intended for practicing clinicians, psychology and social work students, and psychiatry residents who are interested in broadening their knowledge of the theory and practice of psychoanalysis.

The Fellowship Program includes eight monthly meetings to hear and discuss clinical material presented by NYFS analysts from Washington, DC and New York in a case conference format.  In addition, Fellows are invited to attend all NYFS scientific programs in Washington, DC and in New York; and a NYFS mentor will be provided to help fellows consider the possibilities of a career as a psychoanalyst.

Meetings are held on the second Saturday of the month, from October to June, omitting December, from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at a Silver Spring, MD, location.  Tuition is $75 per year.  Those experiencing financial hardship may request a tuition waiver.
